365 Things To Do In Costa Mesa – Public Safety BBQ – Day 85

Orange County Fairgrounds is the place to be

Why? Well there are two great things going on there today at lunch. Go to one, check out the other, or hit up both!

Event #1 – Public Safety Recognition BBQ

The Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce, the OC Marketplace, and the OC Fair are putting on this fun event to pay respect to the officers and employees of the Costa Mesa Police Department, the Costa Mesa Fire Department and the Communications Center.  For the everyday resident it is $10 to attend and get lunch and of course the honorees are free. They deserve it for keeping us safe, don’t you think?

Event #2 – Food Truck Madness

I posted about this event last week and now it’s back again. Every Thursday the food trucks are taking over the parking lot at the OC Fair. They come from near and far so you can sample their mobile cuisine in one convenient location from 11-2. I know that the Kona Ice truck will be there… Sounds like the perfect dessert to a bbq lunch!

If you plan to attend:

Just to recap, the Public Safety BBQ is open to all and is $10 for lunch.

WHERE: OC Fairground (enter at main entrance near administration building)

TIME: 11am-1pm

Thanks Costa Mesa Chamber for planning this event and giving thanks to our protectors.
