365 Things To Do In Costa Mesa – Help OCIS – Day 214

Volunteer and Make a Difference

I recently heard about another worthwhile volunteer opportunity here in Costa Mesa at the Orange Coast Interfaith Shelter (OCIS). According to their website, the aim of the organization is “to address the seemingly simple needs of homeless families.”

Lend A Hand & Pay It Forward

There are several volunteer opportunities available, like:

-Evening Children’s Group Supervisor to help with homework & watch kids from 6-7pm, Monday-Thursday

-Tutoring, daily after 5pm

-Shelter Preparation that can be done weekdays or weekends

-Office Support

-And more

What is your favorite volunteer activity in Costa Mesa? Please post it below.
