365 Things to do in Costa Mesa – Pretend City – Day 268

pretend

Built in August of 2009, Pretend City Children’s Museum is a community which builds better brains through fun, whole body learning experiences and empowers children and their grown-ups to meaningfully connect with and expand their world.

Pretend City Children’s Museum is designed as an interactive mini city that allows children to “pretend” to be the adults. With an entire city at their fingertips, children can experience what it is like to live, work, play, and be a part of a community. With over 15,000 sq. feet of educational interactive exhibits and activities, Pretend City Children’s Museum brings learning and imagination to life!

They have over 13 interactive exhibits that your child brings to life. When you see your child engaging in an exhibit for hours on end, they are creating their own world, where they are in charge, this is showing great imaginative and development skills.

Pretend City holds many events throughout the year as well. For more information visit their website: http://pretendcity.org/
