365 Things to do in Costa Mesa – Segerstrom Center for the Arts – Day 314

Segerstrom Campus in the Evening

One of the region’s premier performance venues,  Segerstrom Center for the Arts mission is to bring the community together through performance art. Its beautiful and inviting architecture makes a wonderful environment to see a show or take an art class. Segerstrom Center’s primary box office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and also offers ticket purchases over the phone at (714)-556-2787.

The center is kid-friendly too! Show up early before your show to make memories with free pre-show activities 1 hour before showtime. Stop by on Mondays for free movie night for classics such as My Best Friend’s Wedding (Aug. 3rd) or E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial (Aug. 10th). You can catch a nightly performance of Phantom of the Opera starting August 5th; showtime at 7:30p.m. Guests are invited to stick around for “Thursday Talk Backs” after the performance with the cast offering a special opportunity to ask questions about the show and the life of a performer.
