365 Things to do in Costa Mesa – Long Beach Greek Festival – Day 336

The Long Beach Greek Festival and Cultural Event is a community celebration of Hellenic culture. During the festival, the church grounds of Assumption of Blessed Virgin transforms into a Grecian Village complete with all the best the Greeks have to offer.

The annual event has been a staple in the City of Long Beach since its inception. The festival includes authentic Greek dance performers, free Greek dance lessons, authentic Greek food and pastries, Greek cooking lessons, full meals, beverages, vendor booths featuring an array of exotic gifts and artwork, a children’s carnival area, and continuous live Greek music provided by The Olympians.

The Church requests an admission donation of $3 per person above 12 years old. There will also be a prize drawing for $50 each ticket for a chance to win an Apple iWatch, 4 tickets to the Aquarium of the Pacific, or the grand prize of $5,000! The drawing will take place a 8:15 PM on Monday, September 7, 2015. The winners do not need to be present. Each $50 ticket includes 1 complimentary chicken dinner!
