Acoustic Eidolon: Lord of the Strings

Lord

On Mar. 20th, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the SOCO Collection and The OC Mix on 3303 Hyland Ave., Costa Mesa, California 92626 Lord of the Strings: Acoustic Eidolon will be playing.

Listen to Hannah Alkire and Joe Scott, both of whom joined forces upon the music scene in the year 1998. The confluence of these gifted musicians resulted in Acoustic Eidolon, the internationally-acclaimed duo.

Joe Scott will perform on a custom designed, unique “Double-neck Guitjo”, a guitar/banjo blend exclusively created by him and deemed “a beautiful harp like sounding instrument…. nothing they have ever heard before,” by USA Today.

Hannah was classically trained upon the cello. Alkire studied with Hungarian String Quartet’s G. Magyar and won accolades around the world for her mesmerizing emotion she places into every performance and exquisite tone. Hannah’s inquisitive nature prompted her to take her playing of the cello into uncharted territories, and take risky moves which have continued her reputation as a cello performance tour de force.
