The Klezmatics

On Dec. 22nd, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts on 600 Town Center Dr., Costa Mesa, California 92626 The Klezmatics will be performing.

Since they came on the scene over 25 years ago, the Klezmatics raised the bar for Jewish, Eastern European music, made musically, politically, and aesthetically interesting recordings, which inspired future generations, and created a massive body of work which is enduring, and assisted in changing the face of contemporary Yiddish culture. Oftentimes referred to as a “Jewish roots band,” the Klezmatics led a popular revival of an almost forgotten, ages-old art form.
