Mozart & Don Quixote

From May 18th, 2017 to May 20th, 2017 at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts on 600 Town Center Dr., Costa Mesa, California 92626 Mozart & Don Quixote will be performing.

Orli Shaham, internationally celebrated pianist, has been building up loyal fans with her Pacific Symphony’s Café music series’ curation. Shaham will perform the Concerto No. 17 by Mozart. The “Morning Song of the Jester,” which incorporates Spanish musi themes, opens this program. Closing the night will be Strauss’ tone poem that is inspired by the Cervantes novel, with a solo cello—Pacific Symphony’s very own Timothy Landauer—which stars as “ingenious gentleman,” Don Quixote.
