Fairview Park – Burrowing Owls are Back!

Recently there have been exciting sightings of burrowing owls at Costa Mesa’s Fairview Park. Another reason to come visit the park for a stroll and some bird watching. Do you know the park is known to have the greatest bird diversity of all parks in OC?

According to this article in the LA Times, if you come across a burrowing owl, residents are urged not to disturb them. While not endangered, the small birds are enjoying special protection from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Join the Lunar New Year Celebrations at South Coast Plaza!

The festivities were rang in yesterday evening with performances from China’s Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, virtual “wishing tree” displays and the unveiling of a holiday centerpiece in Jewel Court.
